A total of property sales were recorded across Berkshire County between May 11 and May 15, according to filings from the Middle, North, and South Berkshire Registry of Deeds offices. The transactions cover a range of residential and commercial properties, reflecting ongoing activity in the region's housing market.
In the northern part of the county, several single-family homes changed hands in communities like Williamstown and North Adams. A three-bedroom colonial on Main Street in Williamstown sold for $425,000, while a smaller ranch-style home in North Adams went for $215,000. The South Berkshire district saw deals in Great Barrington and Sheffield, including a historic farmhouse on Route 7 that closed at $680,000. A condominium unit in Lenox was also transferred, fetching $310,000.
Middle Berkshire transactions included a property in Pittsfield's west side, a two-family home sold for $275,000, and a vacant lot in Dalton. Commercial activity was lighter, but a small retail space in Lee was purchased for $150,000. The registries noted that all deeds were properly recorded and taxes paid at the time of closing.
These filings offer a snapshot of the local real estate landscape, where prices vary widely depending on location and property type. Buyers and sellers continue to navigate a market that has seen steady demand, particularly for homes in the $200,000 to $500,000 range. The full list of transactions is available for public review at the respective registry offices.
