The 45-year-old actor has officially moved on from his California base, selling his Los Angeles property for more than one million dollars under what he originally wanted. Evans first listed the home in May 2025 with an asking price of 6.99 million. After months on the market, the property finally entered a contingency period last week, meaning a buyer stepped forward with an offer that has now been accepted.
Sources close to the sale confirm the final number came in just under 5.9 million, a noticeable drop from the initial figure. The house, which Evans bought several years ago, sits in a quiet, gated neighborhood and features modern architecture, a pool, and plenty of outdoor space. It was never publicly known why he chose to sell, but the timing lines up with his recent move out of state. Friends say he has been spending more time on the East Coast, where his family is based, and that he has no plans to buy another place in California anytime soon.
The sale marks the end of an era for the actor, who had been a fixture in the Los Angeles area for over a decade. While the price cut might seem steep, real estate experts note that the market for high-end homes has cooled significantly since last spring. Evans reportedly accepted the offer without much back-and-forth, eager to close the chapter and focus on his next projects. The new owners are expected to take possession within the next few weeks.
