Kylie Jenner has finally closed the chapter on her Hidden Hills mansion, selling the sprawling property for $15.3 million. The final sale price lands roughly $5 million below what she originally hoped to get when she first put the home on the market.
The reality star and cosmetics mogul bought the 13,200-square-foot residence in late 2016 for $12.05 million. When she decided to sell, she listed it for nearly double that amount, aiming for a much larger return. The market had other plans, and after sitting on the listing for an extended period, the price was adjusted downward until a buyer stepped forward.
The home sits in one of Southern California's most exclusive enclaves, a neighborhood that has drawn scores of celebrities over the years. With more than 13,000 square feet of living space, the estate offers the kind of scale and privacy that typically commands top dollar. Even so, the gap between the asking price and the final figure shows how much leverage has shifted in the luxury market.
For Jenner, the sale still represents a gain over her 2016 purchase, just a smaller one than she may have envisioned. The deal also clears a property from her portfolio as she continues to manage a growing collection of real estate holdings across the region.
