The final full week of December 2025 saw a steady flow of property ownership changes across Macomb County. From Dec. 22 through Dec. 26, the county recorded a variety of real estate transfers, reflecting ongoing activity in the local housing market.
Transactions ranged from residential single-family homes to commercial parcels. In Sterling Heights, a three-bedroom ranch on Maple Lane changed hands for $285,000, while a larger colonial in Clinton Township sold for $410,000. The city of Warren recorded several sales, including a bungalow on Hayes Road that went for $195,000.
Some of the higher-value transfers included a lakefront property in Harrison Township, which sold for $725,000. In Macomb Township, a newly constructed home on Riverbend Drive closed at $589,000. Smaller communities like Romeo and Armada also saw activity, with several vacant land parcels and older farmhouses being transferred.
The data, compiled from county records, shows that while the holiday week typically slows down closings, the market remained active. Real estate agents in the area noted that interest rates and inventory levels continued to influence buyer decisions. The transfers recorded during this period represent a snapshot of the region's diverse housing stock, from starter homes to luxury estates.
