The sale of the Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino has officially been completed. However, the full financial details of the transaction were not disclosed until the deal was finalized on October 15.
The acquisition, valued at $301 million, includes a real estate leaseback arrangement with Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. This strategic move is expected to enhance the operational capabilities of the racetrack and casino while providing a steady revenue stream for the new owners.
